Over the past 7 years, our work has been dedicated to promoting Syrian cinema. Our mission is to create a platform for stories that offer a nuanced and human understanding of the situation in Syria. SDD serves as an open window to the dynamic Syrian film and cultural scene, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of Syrians both within and beyond the country's borders

Documetary film
Six films from or about Syria will be screened in Copenhagen between 11- 16 September

The screening of a good documentary often produces dialogue and reflection by itself. However, we also wanted to create a space that encouraged further exploration of the issues at stake.
awards
The six films will be in two competitions to win one or both of our awards: Audience award and jury award.
